From paranormal academies to obsessive, emotionally volatile romance, we write stories full of morally questionable men, unhinged chemistry, and heroines who refuse to back down.

Hi, I’m Caroline!

And I write all kinds of dark romance with my sister Susanne. We basically built a career out of emotionally ruining fictional people together.

WHO AM I?

I’m an English girl powered by chocolate and gym guilt. It’s a delicate balance.

I’ve got a rescue Labrador called Sirius (yes, that Sirius), who is terrified of absolutely everything but wakes me up like he’s in the Olympics.

When I’m not writing, I’m usually off doing slightly reckless life decisions like skydiving, travelling, or collecting experiences I will later turn into trauma for my characters.

Writing with Susanne is basically controlled chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

WHO THE HELL AM I?

I’m Susanne Valenti and I co-write all kinds of romance with my sister Caroline.

I live in England somewhere between school runs, muddy puddles, cats plotting world domination, and writing whenever life stops yelling at me for five minutes.

I have two kids, a husband I caught at 17 and never gave back, and parents who basically run my entire life so I can write books about emotionally unstable characters.

We started writing properly together in 2019 and it turned into this whole thing where we now build massive interconnected romance worlds and emotionally destroy readers for fun.

If I’m not writing, I’m probably in our reader group talking nonsense or planning the next book disaster.
